The Australian National Network (ANN) consists of multiple stations, at approximately 500km intervals across Australia. These sites were observed with Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) as part of an Intergovernmental Committee on Surveying and Mapping (ICSM) cooperative project during 1993 (with some additional observations in 1992 and 1994). Red dots show the Australian National Network and the white triangles show the Australian Fiducial Network.

This network of sites is constrained to the Australian Fiducial Network and this forms the framework for the Geocentric Datum of Australia (GDA). It has an estimated accuracy of 0.1ppm.
