Hinchinbrook Island
This Landsat 7, ETM+ (bands 1, 2, 3) image shows Hinchinbrook Island and part of the Great Barrier Reef - which stretches along the coast of north Queensland for approximately 2600 kilometres.
Hinchinbrook Island, about 180 kilometres south of Cairns, is the largest island national park in Australia, and is managed as a protected wilderness with only a single walking track which follows the eastern shore.
