In this true colour swipe comparison, colours appear as close as they would naturally to the human eye. Urban areas appear white to light blue, dry vegetation and bare soil as shades of yellow, orange and brown, and water bodies as dark blue to black. New residents can be seen appearing mostly along the northern edge of town. The main infrastructure changes to the city however are within the mine sites, which run diagonally through the city separating North and South Broken Hill. The Gold Course and Broken Hill Racetrack are developed during this time to the northeast of the city. Also see the new construction at Stephens Creek Reservoir in the top right of the image.
