In this false colour swipe comparison, urban areas appear as shades of cyan and purple, dry vegetation and soil as magenta to red, and forest or irrigated vegetation as shades of green. Water bodies appear dark blue to black. New suburban residents appear mainly to the southwest, with dense infrastructure emerging around Settlement Point, as well as new man-made waterways through the point. The current development of the upgraded dual highway linking Port Macquarie to the Pacific Hwy can be seen crossing the current Oxley Highway. Also notice the much greater water volume in Lake Innes as of 2011.
