In this false colour swipe comparison, urban areas appear as shades of cyan and purple, dry vegetation and soil as magenta to red, and forest or irrigated vegetation as shades of green. Parklands and ovals appear as bright green. Residential expansion has been mainly to the north, as expansion to the east is relatively limited to the east by Mount Archer National Park however a small amount of properties have sprung up along Frenchville Rd over the time skip. Rural residential properties emerge in Glendale and Rockview to the North, and similarly in South Gracemere. Gracemere has undergone very significant expansion in the last 22 years. Also notice the river’s colourisation change, based on difference water volume and silt load between years.
