In this true colour swipe comparison, colours appear as close as they would naturally to the human eye. Urban areas appear grey to white, trees and grasslands as shades of green and yellow, soils and sparse vegetation as red to brown, and water bodies as dark blue to black. While still a relatively small town, Broome has seen remarkable growth in recent years due to its growing mining and tourism industries. Areas including Cable Beach, Bilingurr and Minyirr have all seen notable development. Broome International Airport has also been extended over the time skip.
