In this true colour swipe comparison, colours appear as close as they would naturally to the human eye. Urban areas appear grey to white, trees and grasslands as shades of green and yellow, soils and sparse vegetation red to brown, and water bodies as dark blue to black. Exmouth has seen quite significant expansion compared to its overall size. Most prominently there have been new manmade inlets and a harbour constructed just south of town. Furthermore new commercial infrastructure has appeared to both the north and south of the town due to the booming tourism industry.
