In this true colour swipe comparison, colours appear as close as they would naturally to the human eye. Urban areas appear grey to white, trees and grasslands as shades of green and yellow, sparse vegetation and soil as brown to green, and water bodies as dark blue to black. Kununurra has expanded quite significantly in comparison to its overall size. New residential development has occurred to the north of town, as well as new housing on the southern side of the Victoria Highway. Kununurra Airport has also seen a large amount of construction. Furthermore, notice the increase in agricultural land in the region particularly on the western side of the Ord River.
