Geoscience Australia plays an important role in developing models, methods, information and tools to analyse natural hazard risk and impacts.
The Natural Hazards in Australia report focuses on rapid-onset natural hazards, including tropical cyclone, flood, severe storm, bushfire, landslide, earthquake and tsunami. The report discusses the impact of natural disasters in Australia and introduces the concept of risk.
